Hi.  I’m Matt.

More importantly, I’m guy in my late 20′s that lives in Denver, CO.  I moved here for one reason – to be near the mountains and to take advantage of all the the Colorado Outdoors has to offer.  I started this blog after living in Denver a little longer than 1 year – prior to my second winter and spring in CO.  My goals are many, but most of all I want to get out there and explore, climb some mountains, challenge myself physically and mentally, maybe meet some great people, and keep a record of it all with pictures, commentary, stories, and whatever else comes up.

Over time, I hope to collect a record of trip reports that cover everything from a 4 mile hike to see some wildflowers to an epic week long mountaineering adventure.  So if you like what I’ve got going on here, have some recommendations, or want to tell me that I’m some tree-hugging hippie that needs to get in touch with “reality,” feel free to drop me a line.
